This section is really important! Burnout Masters at Sydney Dragway operates under IHRA Sanction, and our operation plan also adopts advice from Motorsport Australia’s Return to Race plan.

WE’RE DOING SOCIAL DISTANCING

Maintain your distance in all parts of the venues including the pits. It’s really important.

PLEASE DON’T COME IF YOU’RE FEELING CROOK

If you’re not feeling well, don’t come. It’s not worth it. Your temperature will be tested on arrival, and you won’t be allowed into the venue if your temp is over the Government guidelines. This is for all of our safety. You will receive a full refund if you are excluded from the venue for this reason.

EVERYONE SIGNS IN

We’ll grab the mobile and email of everyone who enters the venue. It’s important in case we need to get in touch with everyone quickly.

DOWNLOAD THE COVID APP – IT’S HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We do ask you to think about downloading and running the Government’s COVID SAFE app while at the event. It’s not compulsory, but please consider the community benefits and privacy issues when making your decision.

BRING YOUR OWN FIRE SUIT AND HELMET

Fire suits and helmets are compulsory for drivers and passengers. As you can understand, for hygiene reasons, there will be no fire suits available for loan at this event. Fire suits (SFI 3.2A/5 minimum) and helmets (AS/NZS 1698 minimum) are compulsory.

NO CONTACT SCRUTINEERING

We’ll do spot checks on your vehicle, but you’ll be asked to make a declaration about your vehicle meeting the safety requirements, and same for your PPE.

KEEPING CLEAN

There’s plenty of sanitizer and handwashing stations around the venue. Use them!

DRIVER AND OFFICIAL BRIEFINGS

There are no massed driver/official briefings. We’ll send the info out to you beforehand so you can read it and sign it all online.
